Like an oasis of breathtaking verdure on the sweeping fields of Österlen lies the ancient castle of Bollerup. With a history dating back to the 13th century Bollerup is rich in tradition. Education has been conducted here since the beginning of the 20th century. Bollerup Agricultural Institute was established through a legacy by Judge Sylvan and started its educational activity in 1912. Since then the school has grown to a modern Agricultural Upper Secondary School which specializes in agriculture, horse keeping and outdoor pursuits. The school is investing in being a resource centre for the region’s industry and residents. The ambition of the school is to participate in further education in our field as well as to provide a natural meeting place for the people of the district.
